Where to Stay
The venue sits between La Mora and Altafulla on the Costa Daurada. Here are our recommendations — some with special rates for our guests.
Tamarit Beach Resort & Spa
We stayed here when visiting the venue and loved its little-village feel. We rented bikes and played padel! It's right beneath the castle, so you can stumble home whenever you're ready. They're waiving the usual seven-night minimum for our guests, so shorter stays are welcome. If you're interested, please add your names to the spreadsheet.
Hotel Altafulla Mar
If you'd prefer a hotel, Altafulla Mar is a lovely option close to the beach, with pools and restaurants on site. It's also a great base for exploring Altafulla! We loved the town, especially the old town, which is well worth a wander. They're offering a wedding rate for our guests, so use the code CCHC121 when booking (CC for Charlotte, H for Hurley, C for Ciaran — CHC121).
May Altafulla Beach Boutique Hotel
May Altafulla is a lovely boutique option right by the beach, with a rooftop bar for drinks with a sea view. They're offering a wedding rate for our guests, including breakfast. If you'd like to stay here, please add your name to the room-block spreadsheet!
Gran Claustre
If you fancy staying in Altafulla's old town, Gran Claustre is another lovely option. We loved this part of town, it's full of character and lovely for a wander, and has some gorgeous restaurants. Worth a look if you prefer an old-town setting rather than staying right by the beach.
Airbnbs in La Mora
Both of our families will be staying in Airbnb accommodation in La Mora, so this is a lovely option if you'd like to stay in the same area. If you're looking at Airbnbs, our understanding is that most hosts won't open their booking calendars for our wedding dates until January 2027. Don't worry if there doesn't seem to be much available yet — it's worth checking again then!
